I am 42 years old and i felt my face had lost its freshness and symmetry that it once had and had considered surgery as a possible option for the last 2 years.

I felt this year it was time to talk to a surgeon and assertain what cosmetic surgery could do for me as I have a job which involves alot of face to face meetings and interaction; and it is very important to look alert and feel vibrant. The most important reason to opt for surgery in my opinion- is that you should do it for yourself.

I was reccomended Dr Christian Shrank by a respected physician in Munich.

Like every man the worst case scenario would be that people would notice a drastic change in my looks after surgery; that and my other concern- that the result would look artificial and un natural. I expressed these fears with Dr Shrank, and i felt immediately assured that this would not happen. Dr Christian Shrank has a relaxed confidence which in turn helps you to feel relaxed and confident; and that you are in capable hands. He removes the hysteria that I feel is attatched to cosmetic surgery and he helps you greatly as a patient and as a novice to form a realistic view of the procedures and results. After a long consultation, i opted for a forehead lift.

On the day of the operation I felt calm and relaxed and was assured that I would feel totally fine after surgery. After the operation I spent the night in hospital and when I awoke I felt totaly normal and fit.

After 1 week I could see the results and already I could see that it looked totally natural. After 10 days the stitches came out and I saw that the sarring was minimal. After 2 weeks I was back at work and all the swelling had gone. Within 4-6 weeks you can see the complete result. The scarring was minimal and the result was exactly what I had hoped for-
I looked refreshed and youthful without looking artifcial or different. Not one person in my family or friends said anything other than how relaxed and well I looked. The results were so natural that although it sounds like a cliche- you look like you have been on the most relaxing holiday of your life;

and nothing more drastic than that. The other small problem was; that due to over use of filler used by unregulated 'Doctors' over a 5 year period, my eye brow drooped severely where the botox had accumilated. Once again I consulted Dr shrank for a secondary small procedure and he reccomended an upper eyelid blepharoplasty with direct excision of the foreign material.

This was a small operation which requires 30 minutes and only a light aneasthetic which only leaves you numb in the area operated on. I had this done in the morning and in the afternoon I was back at work. Again the result was amazing; totally natural and looked like the old me.

To conclude; I can fully endorse Dr Shrank's skill and professionalism. For me personally; what is most important is that he knows what result his patients expect and what they hope to achieve. I read somewhere that “outward beauty attracts the eye and inner beauty attracts the soul.” However, experience has proven that it often doesn’t even come to the latter because the eye was not attracted in the first place. The signs etched by time also add their little bit to the equation – leading to a desire for change. Two or three years ago, I sought advice from elsewhere. However, that consultation certainly didn’t win me over. Then a personal recommendation led me to a consultation with Dr. Schrank last summer. His statements and solutions were so convincing and comprehensible that I finally decided that he was the surgeon for me! Less than three months later I was in Herrsching. That was ten days ago ...

What can I say? The success of the procedure simply proves him right! I get exactly the same feedback from my immediate environment: My appearance is completely natural, radiant, feminine. Am I happy with the result? And how! I’m perfectly happy!

My goldfish cheeks and my rather tired facial expression worried me for a long time – more and more every day, in fact! In order to achieve quick results, I went to a dermatologist for facial injections, but this unfortunately resulted in unattractive lumps forming on my face – two of these were very prominent on my forehead. I was very unhappy and spoke to a friend about it. She suggested that I consult Dr. Schrank.

After a very detailed consultation, in which we discussed both the effects of aging and the lumps on my forehead, I was most encouraged. We spoke about the goals of the surgery and drew up a treatment concept. My decision was easy: A face and neck lift with shortening of the muscles and firming, together with a forehead, brow and temple lift. Two days after the operation, I could already see that my face appeared much younger and my gaze appeared much more alert. Dr. Schrank also removed the lumps on my forehead completely – they simply disappeared!

Now, a year later, I am still pleased with my appearance every time I look in the mirror. My face has lost nothing in respect of expression and natural appearance – it is simply perfect. Dr. Schrank turned the clock back for me by at least 10 years.
